For now, I would consider gyroscope not working on the Deck just yet, but this is still an incredible update and I can't wait to dig in! The former controls how you move around, which feels weird in gyro, and the latter does allow you to look around, but it pulls the camera in the direction you are looking and doesn't move it in a fluid motion. The 2 options under the "On Foot" set are "Move" and "Look". I am under the impression that this specific gyro control set that is needed. This is fantastic in general, but looking at gyro enabling, it appears the "Menu" action set has the gyro control "Rotate Camera" whereas the "On Foot" one doesn't. No Man's Sky uses multiple different action sets for menus, quick menus, being on foot, flight controls, photo mode, and more. I decided to check the controller configuration in Steam and this seemed to be where the gyro support is, but it isn't working. The changelog states that "Gyro controls can be enabled from the Motion Sensor section of the Controls options." and while that option may be there for the Switch or PlayStation, it isn't there on the Deck.

Oddly enough though, it wasn't working as shown in the full video there. While this is welcome news, I downloaded the update to try it for myself.
